Best of Highlands Short - 3 Days / 2 Nights
Meet with the guide and driver and depart on a scenic journey to Cameron Highlands, a ride of around five hours. Stop on the way at Batu Caves, the largest and most important Hindu temple in Malaysia, nestled in the chamber of a large cave atop a stunning limestone mountain.
Pay a visit to the charming town of Tapah before taking the winding uphill road to Cameron Highlands. En route, stop to see Iskandar Waterfall and Orang Asli village, where the original tribal population of Peninsula Malaysia can still be seen. Reach Cameron Highlands in the afternoon and check into the hotel.
Overnight in Cameron Highlands
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, head on an overland journey to the Cameron Highlands. Long regarded as a refuge from lowland tropical heat, the area is also renowned for its picturesque scenery. Visit the area’s tea plantations and a tea-processing factory for a look at how local tea is produced. After having a quick but rewarding tour of the cool highlands, head back down to the lowlands for a visit to Bukit Merah. Along the way, stop at a unique Buddhist temple. After arriving at Bukit Merah, take a boat across the lake to an Island that houses a research centre for orangutans. Have a look at these charming critters before proceeding by car to the island of Penang. Before arriving, stop at the famous Snake Temple for a daring an3d almost unbelievable temple experience.
Upon arrival in Penang, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast at the hotel, head out with the guide on a tour of the UNESCO Heritage city of Georgetown’s main attractions. Stop at the Thai Temple of the Reclining Buddha and at the Burmese Temple. Then visit Khoo Kongsi, a beautiful Chinese Clan House and the Baba & Nyonya Mansion, a picturesque museum near the beautiful St. George's Anglican Church. The tour culminates with a visit to Kek Lok Si Temple. The largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, this is the perfect place to wander around for a look at Malaysia’s unique and traditional culture.
Afterwards, receive a private transfer onwards, either to the airport to catch a flight or to a local hotel.
