Upon Landing At Luang Prabang Airport, an EXO Travel representative will be present assist with VIP Visa Fast Track. Please have your passport, 1 ID photos and the cost of your Visa ( based on nationality) ready in cash.
A guide and driver will be waiting to provide transport to the hotel for check-in. Afterward, the remainder of the day is free to explore Luang Prabang independently.
In the evening, begin with a short orientation tour, walking (or taking the tuktuk) around the Mekong peninsula to glimpse the sunset from one of the riverfront terraces. The serene landscape of boats drifting along the Mekong and a colorful sunset can be enjoyed alongside dinner and cocktails. Before returning to the hotel, make a stop at the Night Market to browse and shop for unique local crafts and souvenirs.

Begin the day with a pick up from the hotel in Luang Prabang at 08:30 with the adapted bikes. After doing a fitting and adjusting the bike, start the tour at the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, to learn a bit of the history of Laos. Continue to Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief.
Next cycle to Wat Visoun, the holiest temple in the city, followed by the 16th century Wat Aham and Wat That. Ride along the Nam Khan River to visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most revered temple in Luang Prabang.
Ride along the Mekong back into town for the final stop of the day: the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre, dedicated to exploring the rich diversity of Laos’ ethnic minorities.
Continue the ride to Ock Pop Tock, a nonprofit seeking to preserve traditional weaving techniques, helping to make the trade an important source of income for many Lao families.
Take a break to enjoy Lunch at Ock Pop ToK Learning Crafts Center, set along the Mekong in a lush garden.
This afternoon, continue the cycle out to Phosy Market, to join the locals and support vendors by buying fresh produce. The guide will be here to explain the fruits and to encourage the sampling of different items… many of which have never been seen before!
Return to the hotel by bike.
This afternoon, enjoy a romantic and relaxing time at L’Hibiscus Spa. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink before receiving a 30 minute herbal foot massage on a private balcony for two. The foot massage will be followed by a 90 minute aromatherapy massage in a private room for two including hot compress, hot rocks or hot oil. After the massage share sunset on the balcony and try delicious L’Hibiscus sorbet.
Enjoy a romantic dinner for two at Luang Prabang’s finest restaurant, Manda de Laos.

After breakfast there will be a hotel pickup and transport to the pier to begin the Mekong River tour. Today, you will have a private cruiser boat from Mekong Kingdoms to take you upriver.
Beginning the cruise, observe the daily activities of fishermen and others living along the waters. For many, life along the river plays an integral role in daily life and usually represents the only means of transportation and commerce.
Two hours upstream from Luang Prabang, disembark to visit the famous Pak Ou Caves. Locally called Tam Ting, the caves are filled with thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues. The statues range in size from a few centimeters tall to the height of a human and are crammed into the cave which is nestled in a limestone cliff.
After visiting the caves, reboard the boat for a cruise back to Luang Prabang. En route, stop at Ban Xang Hay, a village which specializes in making traditional rice-wine.
Enjoy an independent lunch in Luang Prabang.
In the late afternoon starting at 4:30 pm, take part in a privatized Lao cooking class run by one of Luang Prabang’s most famous restaurants, Tamarind. The expert chefs will demonstrate how to prepare authentic Lao dishes before giving guests a try. After the meals have been prepared, sit down and enjoy the day’s work. Upon completing the course, receive a cookbook in order to prepare some of the delicious meals back home.

For early risers, there is a very special dawn visit to watch the collecting alms by monks. As the sun begins to rise, long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk barefoot down the streets collecting offerings from Luang Prabang residents. It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spiritualism of the Laos people. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, depart with guide and driver for a short transfer through the Luang Prabang countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls. Stop en-route to visit a small ethnic village, learning about their traditions and culture.
Upon reaching Kuang Si Waterfall, relax and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. The water collects into several cool, clear pools where it’s possible to take a refreshing swim.
On the road back, there is an optional visit to Free the Bears. This sanctuary houses 23 Asiatic bears, all which have been rescued from poachers. Additionally, a stop can be made at the unique Lao Buffalo Dairy Farm, a social enterprise that produces sustainable and delicious cheese while giving back to the community and environment. While the buffalo may be the stars here, there are also playful pigs, cheeky chickens and rollicking rabbits that are just as fun to interact with for the young and young at heart. Enjoy a homemade ice cream at the cafe before saying goodbye to the Buffaloes and the team. (Opening Hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm, Monday - Sunday)
Afterwards, stop for a picnic lunch near the falls before returning to Luang Prabang in the afternoon.
As the day comes to an end, there will be a unique opportunity to experience one of Laos’ oldest traditions, The Baci. The purpose of the Baci is to call back escaped spirits to the body, a ceremony generally held before major events such as weddings, births, travel and farewells. The Baci tonight will take place in the Temple of Wat That Luang, where both monks and nuns will attend the blessing.

This morning offers a chance to enjoy the town for some last-minute shopping while the VIP Airport Check-In is handled. Passports and checked luggage should be provided to the representative at reception three hours prior to flight departure. The representative will manage airport check-in and immigration services in advance, allowing for a relaxed stay in Laos without the need to rush or deal with paperwork.
Be met by the guide and the private car at the hotel and transfer to the airport for the departing flight.
