Passing through Binjai town, the trip from the airport takes approximately 3 hours and leads to the entrance of Gunung Leuser National Park, which stands as the final sanctuary for the Sumatran orangutan.

This provides an excellent chance to observe orangutans in their natural habitat, alongside other fascinating creatures such as Thomas leaf monkeys, long-tailed macaques, gibbons, black gibbons, hornbills, and amidst exotic tropical flora.
After enjoying a picnic lunch in the heart of the jungle, conclude the excursion with a thrilling traditional river tubing experience returning to Bukit Lawang.

Kerinci Seblat National Park stands as one of the final natural sanctuaries for the critically endangered Sumatran Tiger. The park provides an outstanding opportunity to experience pristine rainforest and rich biodiversity; however, because these animals are exceptionally elusive and live in remote forest sectors, encounters with wild Sumatran tigers are highly uncommon and cannot be guaranteed.
