Arrives at noon in Semarang.

Located on the north coast of the island of Java, Semarang is the capital of Central Java. An Important port on the Java Sea since the Dutch colonial era, Semarang, with its 1.5 million inhabitants, is now the 7th most populous city in the country.

After checking in and freshening up at the hotel, embark on an evening walk through the historic Kota Lama district.

Famed for its beautifully maintained European structures, this old town area is often called "Little Netherland" due to its deep historical roots. 

Wrap up the stroll with a dinner that highlights the unique culinary atmosphere of this historic neighborhood.

Return to the hotel.

After checking out of the hotel following breakfast, head to the Losari coffee plantation.


Embark on a guided walking tour through the estate's fields. A local guide will share insights into the cultivation of high-quality organic Arabica and Robusta coffee. At the coffee shed, observe traditional methods for roasting and grinding beans before concluding the tour with a coffee tasting.

Following the tour, enjoy a set-menu lunch at a restaurant offering magnificent panoramic views.

Depart Losari in the afternoon for a one-hour journey to Borobudur in Magelang.

En route to the main temple complex, stop to explore the historic Mendut and Pawon temples, both of which were built prior to Borobudur. Admire the balanced symmetry of Pawon and view the three ancient stone statues within Mendut while learning about the historical importance of these sites.

Arrive at Borobudur Temple after regular visiting hours have ended. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a wealth of intricate Buddhist reliefs and a fascinating history to discover. Take advantage of this special chance to see the sky change colors over the world's largest Buddhist temple, surrounded by the silhouettes of the Menoreh Hills and the peaks of Merapi, Merbabu, Sumbing and Sindoro.

The day concludes with dinner at a local restaurant, providing a final opportunity to view the temple beautifully lit against the night sky.

- It is possible to check-in at hotels in the Borobudur area before the Borobudur sunset tour. The normal check-in time is at 14:00.
