Just a 30-minute speedboat ride from Sanur Beach, the lesser-known Nusa Penida Island surprises with stunning limestone cliffs, clear blue bays, and rolling green hills. Known to the Balinese as the ‘island of demons’ and once a place for outcasts, this is an untouched island truly for explorers who like to go off the beaten trail.

Embark on a short speed boat ride to Nusa Penida. Disembark at Toyapakeh, where hotel staff will arrange the short transfer to the hotel.

After check-in, pick up from the hotel for a snorkelling trip to  Manta Point, which is a great place to go snorkelling and discover the Manta Rays roaming around naturally in their habitat. Kick the fins at the other snorkelling spots of Gamat Bay and Crystal Bay both of which are located close by one to another. Visit the Toyapakeh Sea Wall, a stunning snorkelling spot with a large variety of marine life and beautiful corals. Lunch served at a local restaurant.

Afternoon return back to hotel.

After breakfast, depart for a first discovery of the island's rocky west coast. The photos of the day will definitely qualify to make friends on social media jealous!

Start your day with a visit to an unusual temple called Pura Paluang - Car Temple, often called the “Car Temple” by travellers or “Pura Mobil” by locals. Walk up to the edge of Paluang Cliff, the cliff also offers an awesome view of a green arm extending out into the ocean.

Next, depart for Kelingking Cliff or Kelingking Secret Point. The limestone cliff covered in lush green resembles a T-Rex shape and hides a beautiful beach 400 meters below of which stunning photos can be taken from the top.
Continue to discover the so-called “Broken Beach” or Pasih Uug, an emerald bay filled with turquoise water from the ocean through a hole in a cliff. Just nearby is Angel’s Billabong, a natural pool of sharp volcanic rock, into which the powerful waves are crashing during high tide and which is flat as a mirror during low tide. 

With its greenish tone and overlooking a beautiful coast cape, the billabong resembles a mystical place. 
The last visit for today is Crystal Bay, enjoy some relaxing time by the beautiful sandy beach while enjoying the spectacular panorama this beach has to offer.

Start your discovery of Nusa Penida’s east coast and the island’s most important Hindu temple, which is located in a large cave in the town of Sampalan. Goa Giri Putri is an important pilgrimage place also for Balinese Hindus from the mainland. It hosts not only several Hindu shrines but also a Buddhist shrine. The impressive cave temple is accessible through a small very narrow passage that needs to be crawled through after ascending about 100 stairs up to the entrance. 

Make a stop at Semaya Seaweed Farm, and see and learn about the whole seaweed process. From Semaya, continue to Atuh Beach, one of the most beautiful views of the East coast and one of the most beautiful beaches of Nusa Penida. The elements and time have carved this huge cliff and the beaches below. 

Next to Diamond Beach, a stunning white beach, silky blue water, limestones, and palm trees are creating a dream destination. 

Molenteng Tree House, offering the beautiful panorama of a tolls line up in the blue sea from the peak of Molenteng Hill. In the hills on the eastern side of Nusa Penida, Tanglad Village is one of the few places on the island where weaving the crafting of sarongs and traditional cloth is still maintained.
