Flores can be reached by flight from Denpasar by Wings Air
Upon arrival in Ende Airport, you will be welcomed by your local biking team and drive to visit
Wolotopo traditional village and weaving Ikat, then back to Ende for Lunch. After lunch drive to
Moni at the east of Ende (2 hr drive).
Overnight and Dinner at Kelimutu Ecolodge.

After an early wakeup call start today around 4 am by car from your hotel in Moni and proceed
walking to the mysterious Mt Kelimutu.

Discover the most amazing natural phenomenon in Flores.
Kelimutu consists of three uniquely colored lakes from
brilliant aquamarine, to ochre red and chocolate brown. Over
the years, the 3 crater lakes have often changed colors. While
a scientific reason for the color changes may be the varying
mineral contents of the lakes, local people still strongly
believe that the 3 lakes are gathering places of ancestral

spirits, each color being related to a different Karma.
Note: Easy access with a 30mn walk form the parking area of the Kelimutu National Park
You can ride the bike down to the hotel starting from the parking area of Kelimutu.

After having the breakfast in the hotel continue the trip by car to Nduaria, then biking to Ende.
In the afternoon in Ende, cycling to the harbor and enjoying the sunset. Dinner and overnight at
Grand Wisata Hotel Ende.

tart cycling from your hotel to Nangapanda, stop en route to visit Penggajawa Beach, located on the southern coast of the island. Here you will have time to stroll along the attractive beach with its blue-hued pebbles and volcanic black sand. 

Continued by car to Boawae, have lunch at local restaurant, by car go to Rowa, and cycling to the hot Spring in So’a.  

We drive to Bajawa, dinner at local restaurant before checking in at hotel. Overnight at Sanian Hotel Bajawa.

Please note: Bajawa is a remote area with limited hotel options. We consider the Silverin Hotel to be the best hotel in the area and it has clean rooms with private bathrooms and hot and cold water and attractive views of Mount Inarie.

Morning biking from your Hotel to Bena Village. With its impressive stone formations and ancestral shrines, as well as traditional houses, Bena has turned into an icon of Ngada culture. 

Built at the foot of Mt Inerie, Bena village consists of 2 parallel rows of traditional high thatch-roofed houses. In the center of the village together with the ancestors shrines are many megalithic formations mean to connect Ngada people with the supernatural realm and to communicate with the ancestors, often by animal sacrifice.

Continue biking to Waebela and then by car to Aimere, discover the “Arak”, a local wine distillation. Lunch in local restaurant on the way to Ruteng.

Stop on the way to Ranamese Lake in the forest.

Dinner and Overnight at Santa Maria Monestery

*Tonight’s accommodation will be in Ruteng at Santa Maria Monastery, a convent hotel. Simple but clean accommodation is provided in twin bedded rooms with en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water. This hotel is, in our opinion, the best option in Ruteng.

πŸ“ Cycling Ruting – Watu Alo: 2.5 hours, 35km approximately Cycling Watu Alo to Ruteng Pu’u: 1 hour 30 minutes, 20km approximately Tour duration 6 hours

Start this morning for 4 hours cycling from Ruteng to Kenda, continue to Ting village and Watu Alo. On the way you can see the beautiful rice field terraces. 

In the afternoon you can continue biking to visit Ruteng pu’u traditional houses. Village is made of a round, stone platform surrounded by a circle of stones and traditional houses. The traditional village is the center of traditional ceremonies and rituals. In the past an impressive FIcus tree was in the center of the village, that tree is locally named Ruteng. 

Dinner at Spring hill restaurant and Overnight Santa Maria Monastery.

Departure from your hotel, drive to Cancar to see the unique Lingko rice fields which has circular terraces and are arranged like a spider web. 

The lingko are round, structured in spider-web, they are unique rice-fields particular to the Manggarai people: the central point is used for ceremonies celebrating the unity of the male and female and heaven and earth.

Cycling around the rice field and villages in Cancar for 1 hour, then continue to Labuan Bajo. 

Downhill Cycling from Roe to Labuan Bajo for 1.5 hour. 

Farewell dinner with your local biking team.

Transfer to the harbor of Labuan Bajo and board a boat to cruise to the islands of Rinca.

Lunch is served on the boat. Rinca is famous for its population of Komodo dragons as well as wild pigs, buffalos and birds. You’ll go ashore and take a trek with an island ranger to see these magnificent lizards in their natural environment. Take a leisurely trek to observe the dragon.

In the afternoon, sail and anchor the boat near Kalong Island. It is a small island with a huge mangrove forest. It features a beautiful panorama and at dusk the skies are filled with thousands of bats leaving their nests in the trees to forage fruits on surrounding islands.

Awake early this morning for a full day boat trip in Komodo national park. Breakfast, lunch is served onboard the ship.

On Komodo Island, take a trek to Banunggulung, the river bed where the dragons used to be fed fresh goats. The trek takes you through spectacular scenery and you’ll see many unusual plants and animals en route.
It is estimated that there are around 2,000 dragons on the island, as well as a wide variety of other wildlife such as wild boar, deer and buffalo. The island is also excellent for bird watchers, with cockatoos and gosong birds (megapodius reindwardti), among others.
The terrain on Komodo Island is flat and the flora changes with the seasons, going from dry and dusty with thin vegetation, to lush and green with the scent of wild basil in the air during the wet season.  
Lunch will be on board, before arriving at Pantai Merah (Pink Beach), so named because the red coral on the seabed breaks off with the tidal changes and mixes with the sand, causing it to turn a pale pink colour.
Jump overboard and snorkel in the clear waters, where you can see an incredible array of fish including parrotfish, clown fish and, if you are lucky other sea creatures, including turtles. There is plenty of time to swim and snorkel here and to relax on the beach before overnighting on the boat.
Continue to Manta Point where “when lucky” you can snorkeling with these giant Manta Rays.

This afternoon continue to the final leg of this adventure, sail to Gili Laba Island.

Optional night wake up to reach the Laba Island view point and see the sunrise offering panoramic view on the Komodo National Park.

Enjoy snorkelling in Laba island before returning to Labuan Bajo, if time permit stop on the way to Kanawa island.

Disembark in Labuan Bajo and transfer directly to the airport for your onward flight GA7029 departing 16:25 and arriving 18:00.

Upon arrival in Denpasar you will be greet by your guide and transfer to your hotel in Sanur
