Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, meet and greet your local representative. You will then be privately transferred to your hotel in Ubud.

Late in the morning, after adjusting with the tropical climate, take a halfday trip to explore a little bit of central Bali. First off to the ancient site. Nestled at the base of a lush river valley in the quaint town of Tampaksiring, just northeast of Ubud, lies the Gunung Kawi Temple Complex—one of Bali's largest and most remarkable ancient temple complexes. This site features a series of ancient "Candi" or shrine reliefs intricately carved into the face of a rock cliff. It stands out as one of the island's most unique archaeological wonders and remains a deeply sacred place for the Balinese.

Then proceed to Tampak Siring, to the private house of the Sukarno’s Museum former curator and the leading expert on the recent world heritage listed Pakerisan river area and its ancient temples and monuments.  His life passion is giving back to the country that he loves and through his look documenting the Balinese culture since 1979. His successor will share his findings to help preserve the temples and monuments for future generations to enjoy. Afterward enjoy a delightful lunch set up within his house, sitting amongst the rice field on a ridge to the sacred river of Pakerisan. 
Nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Bali, Mengening Temple stands as a sanctuary of spiritual rejuvenation and cultural heritage. This temple is an ancient site, a relic from the reign of King Marakata in 1022 AD. There are fascinating artifacts around this area, and several sacred springs can also be found here. In addition exploring the relics of ancient kings, join us for a self-purification journey, cleansing body and soul with sacred water while embracing Balinese traditions and nature's tranquility.

At first glance, Ubud’s bustling main street might seem like an unlikely place to uncover traces of “Old Bali,” but hidden gems await those who know where to look. A royal gate crafted by a 116-year-old sculptor. A mystical confluence of two rivers. A multi-tiered shrine honoring the gods. A tribute to the early collaboration between Balinese and Western artists. This walk takes you on a journey to discover the old within the new, exploring the layers of history woven into ‘modern’ Ubud. Along the way, we’ll delve into the evolution of this area, from its quiet suburban beginnings to becoming the vibrant heart of downtown Ubud.
Then continue to Ubud Monkey Forest, known for its conservation efforts, a nature reserve and temple complex. It houses approximately 340 monkeys which are known as long-tailed Macaques (Macaca fascicularis). Take a long walk on the pedestrian path around the Monkey Forest to lunch at the legendary local restaurant located in beautiful natural surroundings close to the famous Monkey.
Next, to one of the most renowned museums in Bali. The House of Masks and Puppets attracts a steady stream of art enthusiasts and visitors eager to explore its vast collection of masks and puppets from Bali, across Indonesia, and around the world. With over 1,300 masks and 5,700 puppets, the collection is displayed in four traditional Javanese antique buildings. It features a diverse range of items, including traditional shadow puppets, leather shadow puppets, sacred masks, contemporary pieces, and Balinese puppets and masks.

Leaving central Bali, we will drive up to the mountain area for a sleepy village of Munduk with few stops to break the distance.  

First off to Taman Ayun Temple, one of Bali's most captivating temples, built in the 17th century as the family temple of the Mengwi Empire. Renowned for its elegant and sophisticated architectural design, the temple is adorned with tiered shrines dedicated to various gods, beautifully manicured gardens, thatched-roof prayer pavilions, and tranquil canals, creating a harmonious and picturesque setting.

Then proceed to discover the stunning beauty of endless hectares of lush green rice terraces, cascading gracefully from the slopes of volcanoes down into the deep valleys below, as if carved into the mountainside. The Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, located in the heart of Tabanan Regency, are a prime example of Bali's breathtaking agricultural landscape. They showcase the Subak water irrigation system, a cultural tradition that has earned recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll then continue passing Candikuning Market, where the traditional market offers an array of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, and exotic flowers, including delicate orchids and roses, all beautifully arranged in a vibrant display of colors.

Your last stop as we get closer to the destination is Ulun Danu Temple. Sits on Lake Beratan, in the mild, mountain weather, approximately 1,500 meters above sea level.  The smooth reflective surface of the lake surrounding most of the temple’s base creates a unique floating impression. The misty Bedugul mountain range surrounding the lake complements the temple's scenic backdrop.

After enjoying a simple picnic lunch by the lake, our journey continues to twin waterfalls. Surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant tropical flora, this stunning waterfall creates a breathtaking backdrop for all who visit. Featuring a gorgeous twin waterfall with its water cascading down steep rocks heading to a crystal clear pool at the bottom. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the plunge pool at the bottom while listening to the sound of Mother Nature.

Depending on season and other weather-related facts, we'll embark on a traditional fishing boat to navigate the lush mangroves, using binoculars to catch glimpses of these captivating creatures. As the day winds down, we'll make our way to Sunset Point, where you can relax, take a refreshing swim in the ocean, and savor warm ginger tea paired with traditional snacks. It's an idyllic way to connect with the stunning natural beauty of West Bali. Return back to the hotel.

Leaving Pemuteran in the morning,  as  we journey to West Bali, the road trip is long and it will take us through a mountainous region and the coastal road. However, you'll enjoy good privacy, peace and awesome bonding time. Few stops will be made to break the distance stretch, first off to Melaya Village, where we will meet a remarkable family of artists.

Known as the "Family of Artists," each member has a unique talent. The mother preserves the rare and traditional fabric weaving technique called "Ulon." The eldest son is a musician who plays bamboo instruments and also works as a carpenter and painter. The younger son crafts beautiful Balinese kites, while the father is both a farmer and a red brick maker. We'll spend time with this talented family, learning about their stories, skills, and artistic creations. Before continuing our journey, enjoy a delicious homemade lunch prepared by the family.

Next, we'll explore Jembrana Regency, one of Bali’s most culturally diverse areas, where people of various religions live in harmony. The architecture of their homes and churches incorporates distinctive Balinese designs, creating a community that is both rich in heritage and beautifully unified.
