Journey through the heart of Ancient Egypt on an eight-day roundtrip cruise from Aswan. This itinerary follows the gentle flow of the Nile to the historical capital of Luxor and back, offering deep insights into the pharaonic era through visits to monumental burial sites, towering pylons and sacred riverside sanctuaries.
Itinerary
Embark at noon followed by lunch and leisure time on board. The evening features the Captain’s welcome cocktail and a lively Nubian show showcasing local music and dance.

Sail north towards Kom Ombo in the early morning. After breakfast, explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely shared by Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, perched dramatically above the river. Continue the journey north towards Edfu.
Relax on board with afternoon tea as the cruise continues towards Esna. Dinner is followed by another Galabia Party held in the evening for continued cultural immersion.

In the early morning, sail to Luxor before exploring the West Bank, home to some of Egypt’s most celebrated monuments. Visit the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were buried in elaborately decorated tombs. Explore the elegant Temple of Hatshepsut to encounter the mortuary temple of one of Egypt’s most remarkable rulers. Continue to the Valley of the Queens to see the burial site of royal wives and children. Proceed to Medinet Habu, built by Ramses III, known for its extensive reliefs. Conclude the sightseeing with a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering stone guardians of the ancient necropolis.
Return to the cruise for lunch and afternoon tea before dinner on board. The evening features a belly dance performance.

Return to the cruise for afternoon tea as the sun casts golden light on the Nile’s banks. Dinner is served on board, followed by a graceful belly dance performance introducing the rhythm and spirit of Egypt.

Return to the cruise and resume sailing to Kom Ombo with free time for leisure and afternoon tea. The night concludes with another spirited Galabia Party.
