Late morning time, after a leisure breakfast we will take you for a halfday exploration within central Ubud.

First off, visit ARMA Museum (Agung Rai Museum of Art) and enjoy one of the best permanent collections of Balinese and Indonesian paintings & sculptures. A visit to ARMA provides a great overview of the island’s rich artistic traditions. Then proceed to the Sacred Monkey Forest, a nature reserve and temple complex that serves as home to approximately 340 long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis). Take a walk through the forest and immerse yourself in its serene and picturesque atmosphere. Continue walking on the pedestrian path around the Monkey Forest to reach one of the authentic restaurants, where we will enjoy our lunch here.
Ubud is a haven for arts and crafts, home to some of the island’s most prominent art markets. If desired, a visit to a central landmark can be arranged before returning to the hotel.

Experience an exclusive Balinese wedding ceremony this morning. Along with a local guide, learn about the traditional rituals of an authentic island wedding while forging a deeper connection with the local culture and with each other.

Drive to Batusepih Village where the actual ceremony will take place. Change into traditional wedding costumes and apply Balinese make-up, transforming into a local style bride and groom. Once ready, place a segehan offering at the entrance of the home, a ritual that announces the official start to the ceremony.

Around 10:45 the main wedding commences. Perform mebiakala and metegen tegenan, ceremonies which are believed to cleanse the physical and spiritual body and prepare the couple to enter life in matrimony. During this ceremony, traditional music called gender will be played.

Proceed to a Bale Gede, a special building where prayers will be said to bring happiness and success for a long lasting married life. Next up is the procession of the bride and groom will walk towards the place of worship of the family, after arriving in family temple, brides are welcome to pray according to their respective beliefs.

Toast the wedding with a bottle of local wine and enjoy a typical Balinese lunch, sharing memories of the day’s events.

Return to the hotel. A CD of professional photos documenting the Balinese wedding will be presented to share with friends and family back home.

Explore the best part of the region with an hour e-bike, an effortless adventure passing the local villages, rice terraces, plantations, and vast valleys through the scenic route and hidden path. 

Passing the colorful market of Candikuning, where a myriad of locally-grown fruits, vegetables and orchids are for sale. Browse the stalls alongside the locals and discover spices and herbs used in Balinese cooking.

Proceed to Ulun Danu Bratan, an iconic Temple on Lake Beratan in the Bedugul Highlands. Admire the views of the peaceful waters and snap photos of Ulun Danu, an iconic 17th-century temple located on the lake’s edge. The smooth reflective surface of the lake surrounding most of the temple’s base creates a unique floating impression. The misty Bedugul mountain range surrounding the lake complements the temple's scenic backdrop. 
The area surrounding the temple is believed to have been a site of worship and center for religious rituals since the megalithic period.

As the sunset down, get ready for one of Bali’s most iconic art performances takes place at a clifftop amphitheater near Uluwatu Temple. This captivating show tells the story of Sri Rama, prince of the Ayodya kingdom, who is exiled by his father, King Dasaratha, after falling victim to a sinister plot by his stepmother, Kaikeyi. The performance features a troupe of around 75 male dancers who energetically enter the stage with arms extended and hands shaking in the air, chanting fast-paced “Cak..Cak”, rhythmic choruses in unison. The spectacle reaches its climax as fire torches illuminate the stage against the darkening sky, and the powerful chants gradually fade, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
