Spend an afternoon exploring the rich wonders of Tam Giang Lagoon in Central Vietnam. Begin with a visit to a local village, observe daily life and the unique architecture of traditional homes, including a house where President Ho Chi Minh spent part of his childhood.

Here, visit the captivating Ru Cha mangrove forest, a unique ecosystem where dense, interwoven trees create a tranquil and biodiverse habitat. It helps protect the land near the sea and is home to lots of fish and other water creatures. 

Continue with a short ride by car about 15 minutes to Chuon Lagoon, board on a 40 minute boat ride, learn about local fishing methods from experienced fishermen. Located northeast of Hue, the 100 hectares Chuon Lagoon is a serene brackish water body within the Tam Giang Lagoon system, the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia, and is known for its aquaculture and scenic floating fish farms.  

Late afternoon, sample a delicious seafood meal at a floating restaurant as the day draws to a close, taking in the serene beauty of the lagoon. In favourable weather, witness a breathtaking sunset painting the lagoon in vibrant colors. 

At the end of the afternoon’s adventure, transfer back to Hue city at around 18:30
