The old imperial capital of Hue is popular not only for its attractive historical monuments of the Nguyen Dynasty but also for its richness in culture and cuisine. This evening, discover these foods and flavors by cyclo, a local form of ‘rickshaw’.
The cyclo (also known as a cycle rickshaw) is a three-wheeled bicycle taxi that is popular in Vietnam. It has a seat for passengers at the front, attached to the front wheel, with a driver sitting behind and pedaling the vehicle. Cyclos were introduced to Vietnam by the French in the early 20th century and quickly became a popular means of transportation.
This mid afternoon, depart at 15:00 with a transfer from the hotel to the starting point, followed by a cyclo ride to the first stop of this fun culinary exploration.
Visit hand-picked local family-run venues that serve the best authentic local foods. Immerse in a world of Hue specialties, soups and a variety of Hue savory ‘wet cake’s. Full from this evening’s experience, take a leisurely ride back to the hotel at about 20:30.
