Depart from your hotel at 08:30 or 13:30 by vintage jeep following a safety briefing.

Start the Hanoi adventure by cruising local areas to witness local Hanoian’s way of life, in the maze of backstreets. Pass by local homes, schools, streetside markets and tiny alleyways where locals live, work and play.

Cruise by historic landmarks and city sights such as the Old Quarter, Opera House, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the monument of John MC Cain by Truc Bach Lake.

Continue to the Red River and onto an ‘island’ to explore a hidden gem, where you’ll see people farming and living, under the veil of the city. Rich due to the fertile soil, this island floods each year during the rainy season allowing rich silt to replenish the soil.

As an alternative to the 'island,' a cruise along West Lake offers a serene option. The journey then leads to Phu Tay Ho, a temple dedicated to Princess Lieu Hanh, one of the four legendary figures in Vietnamese history.

Continuing onward, Hoang Hoa Tham Street, known as the bonsai street in Hanoi, showcases a vibrant display of fresh green trees and colorful flowers. The Jeep tour proceeds through hidden back streets and narrow alleys, unveiling a tranquil side of Hanoi, including the site where a B-52 American aircraft was downed.

The final stop is Long Bien Bridge, a magnificent structure built over a hundred of years ago which spans the Red River. Completed in 1902 by, once the longest bridge in Asia made famous once again, this time in the 1970’s during the ‘American war’ as countless bombing raids attempted to disrupt the bridge as a vital supply line.

Along the way, take photos or selfies at any opportunity. The open jeep will allow many opportunities to take fun snaps both on and off the vehicle.

Wrap up the day with specialties of Hanoi: Bun Cha (pork noodles) or Pho Cuon (Pho roll) and a cup of Vietnamese coffee.
