Today’s tour begins at 07:00. Depart with a local guide for a fun, authentic morning tour in Saigon.
Embark on a journey through Saigon’s bustling streets aboard a private taxi, to fully immerse yourself in the local culture. Witness the daily routine of the residents as they open their shops, grab breakfast, and commerce their workday. Kick off your adventure at the picturesque Tao Dan Park, which is an excellent spot for people-watching. As you stroll through the park, you’ll observe the locals engaging in their morning exercises, including Tai Chi, jogging, and aerobics.
As you make your way across the street, you’ll soon arrive at the ‘Birds’ Club’ coffee shop. This charming spot is a local favorite, where folks gather with their feathered friends to unwind, chat, and sip on a delicious cup of coffee. For breakfast, try the mouth-watering “Southern” style noodles, paired perfectly with a glass of authentic Vietnamese coffee. Take in the lively atmosphere and snap some photos to remember this unique experience
Then, visit a small 100-year-old private house cum temple where devotees gather to perform daily prayers for a fortune day. Take time to make a wish in the local custom.
Take a leisurely walk to a nearby wet market where you can witness locals bargaining for the freshest produce available. Upon arrival, meander through the various stalls where vendors offer an array of items such as live seafood, dried meats, fresh seasonal vegetables, and even homeware goods.
Conclude your morning explorations at a renowned chocolate shop that specializes in single-origin artisanal chocolate bars, crafted from cacao sourced from various provinces in southern Vietnam. Relax and indulge in a delicious chocolate drink and a brownie before returning to the hotel on a private taxi for a chance to freshen up before exploring more of Ho Chi Minh City. (B)
