Programme Details
You will be picked up at either 08:00 or 13:00. Get a taste of life in the countryside with an excursion to Klong Mahasawat on this Thai rural tour. Drive away from the modern buzz of Bangkok and, after one hour, enter the charming Nakhon Pathom township. Continue through rich farmland to Klong Mahasawat, an agricultural village on the outskirts of town.
For a first glimpse of the village, take a boat trip on a small canal. Cruise along the tranquil waterways, stopping to visit a water lily pond. Disembark at the pier or this local pond, take a seat, and sip a cup of coffee while admire these beautiful sites while breathing in the fresh air of the countryside.
Hop back on the boat and continue to the next stop at the community center where you can see locals making rice crackers, and you can grab a bite for some to delight your stomach a bit too. Then continue to a tropical fruit orchard for a short tour. See exotic tropical fruits growing on trees and plants, and then sample some of the fresh seasonal produce. Then end the boat trip at a wild orchid farm where you can see beautiful orchids blooming.
Before leaving the area and returning to the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, make a brief photo stop at some rice paddy fields in the area, where, depending on the time of the year, you can observe farmers at work planting and harvesting the paddies. The picturesque fields would complete your rural Thai excursion perfectly.
