Be met by your private guide at the hotel at 08.00. Hop in an electric tuk tuk, heading to the old town of Bangkok, where your relaxing morning experience will begin. Sit back and relax on a comfortable seat while the tuk tuk is driving along the Bangkok’s Champs-Elysees, aka Ratchadamnoen Avenue, passing by the city’s landmarks, like the Democracy Monument, the Royal Ground, and the Royal Grand Palace. Finally, it pulls over right in front of a little boutique hotel Riva Arun. Then, walk up to the rooftop to soak up the beautiful views of the temples as well as the Chao Phraya River.

From Riva Arun, walk to the entrance of Wat Pho, which is one of the oldest temples in Bangkok. Arrive just as the resident monks gather for their morning chants and witness this deeply spiritual and gain a better sense of Thailand’s Buddhist influence.  After the chants, walk around the temple to see the vast collection of religious treasures on display. Admire the famed reclining Buddha image, which stretches 45 metres in length. Learn about the symbolism of the Buddha’s intricate footprint, witness devotees making offerings to this revered image, and even devote your time to do as locals do.

Continue in eco style with your tuk tuk to Wat Suthat, a famous temple for Thais, but less visited by foreigners, so a tranquil ambiance lies around this temple. Indulge in a ‘Sangkatarn’ experience with a private blessing by one of the monks in the temple. Following this, walk to the nearby Giant Swing at the roundabout, located right in front of the temple. Here is one of the famous photo spots, great for any time of the day, but just different perspectives.

Then, take a short walk to the Gingerbread House where you will complete your morning experience. Locally known as “Baan Kanom Pang Khing”, this is a two-storey vintage style house with well-preserved Thai architecture, plus an interesting history from the old times, for over 100 years. The house also remains its own concept as a dessert venue where all Thai traditional desserts are served in luxury sets. Then, take a seat to enjoy your dessert set with assorted Thai sweets and coffee or tea.

After a fun morning, be dropped off back at your hotel by tuk tuk.
