Step into a charming three-story shophouse in the heart of Chinatown. Its tea house delves into the profound history and philosophy of Chinese tea appreciation. Programme Details
Today at 13:00h, you will meet your driver at the hotel for a transfer to a charming Chinese tea house located in the heart of Chinatown. This unique tea house is dedicated to sharing the beauty and tradition of Chinese tea appreciation.
As you step into the three-story shophouse, you will be enveloped in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The Oriental charm is evident in the elegant furnishings and the gentle aroma of brewing tea offering a place for everyone to experience the finest handpicked teas.
Beyond simply sampling tea, the tea house delves into the profound history and philosophy behind the ancient art of tea appreciation. Through engaging and a personalized workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn and appreciate the fascinating culture surrounding tea.
The Tea Appreciation Workshop is designed to cater to individual preferences and provide a tailored delivery of instruction. You will be introduced to the origins of Chinese tea, learn about the distinctive characteristics of the tea portfolio, and explore the modalities of tea appreciation and creation.
The "From Dusk till Dawn" scent-based package features three classic teas: the earthy "Imperial Pu'er," and two aromatic signature teas, "The Queen's Tea - Imperial Golden Cassia," and the soothing "Jasmine Pearls." This delightful tea experience will be accompanied by cookies and a tea egg.
After the tea appreciation workshop, you will be transferred back to your hotel at approximately at 15:30.
