Your tour begins at 17:00 with a warm welcome from your guide at your hotel. As the evening sets in, you’ll be taken to the lively world of Newton Food Centre, where Singapore’s vibrant hawker culture comes alive. From juicy satay and savoury oyster omelettes to aromatic laksa and seafood dishes like stingray, kang kong, and more, you'll indulge in a variety of local delights. This bustling hawker destination offers an authentic taste of Singapore's multicultural heritage, crafted by passionate local vendors, making it the perfect way to begin your evening.

After indulging in local delights, take the MRT from Newton to Somerset MRT, where the next part of your tour begins. Take a stroll along Emerald Hill, a charming street lined with beautifully preserved Peranakan shophouses. These colourful heritage homes, with their intricate facades and ornate detailing, reflect a unique blend of Chinese and Malay influences that define Peranakan culture. As you wander through this peaceful, picturesque area, snap photos of the stunning architecture and enjoy the tranquil escape from the city buzz.

Next, continue your exploration along Orchard Road, Singapore’s iconic shopping and lifestyle district. This vibrant street blends modern glamour with nostalgic charm, offering a unique atmosphere that perfectly complements the elegance of Emerald Hill. You’ll visit Takashimaya and Ion Orchard, where sleek interiors invite you to indulge in window shopping or simply relax and soak in the lively ambience. Don’t forget to seek out the famous local ice cream man on his charming old-school tricycle, serving traditional ice cream in bread or cones—a sweet treat that’s a must-try for visitors.
