Join a local guide for a moderate three-hour hike through AlUla’s historic valley and surrounding cliffs. In order to avoid long transfers, the hike starts close to town. With natural water sources and a prime location at the crossroads of ancient incense trading routes, AlUla has been inhabited for more than 7000 years.

Pass through rocky, barren terrain where birds and flowers can be spotted. Then reach an area of sandstone cliffs where ancient tribes built walls and watchtowers to protect themselves. Gradually ascend to the top of these cliffs, passing the remains of these time-weathered fortifications.

Once at the top, take a break and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the AlUla valley.  Then return to the trail and hike down to reach the finish point.
