Meet with the local guide and set off on a memorable, informative walking tour of Kuching. Begin with a stroll along the iconic Kuching Waterfront. Once home to a row of “godowns”—warehouse-like buildings where traders stored their goods—this riverside landmark is now a must-visit, offering breathtaking views over Kuching’s historic centre. 

Then board a sampan, a traditional water taxi that, for centuries, has carried people back and forth across the river.

Cruise across the river to Pangkalan Abok, followed by a short walk to Petanak Market, a lively farmer’s market filled with fresh, local produce. Wander through the bustling stalls and discover the ingredients that make Sarawak’s cuisine so distinctive.

From the market, head into Padungan, a vibrant area in central Kuching known for its unique charm and historical appeal. Often overlooked by guidebooks, this neighbourhood offers an authentic taste of local life, filled with traditional shophouses where locals shop and enjoy comfort food.
