The day begins with a hotel pick-up, followed by an introduction to the city's history from a local guide. The first stop is Dataran Merdeka, the historic square where Malaysia's independence was proclaimed. A short walk leads to Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, notable for its Moorish architecture and restored 41-metre clock tower, before continuing to the KL City Gallery, where the city's growth from tin-mining settlement to modern capital is traced through a large-scale model.

The afternoon next turns to craftsmanship at the Royal Selangor Gallery, tracing the connection between the city's tin-mining history and the development of the pewter industry, followed by a hands-on session at the School of Hard Knocks workshop, where guests can hammer and shape a personalised pewter dish.

The day concludes with High Tea at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, served in either the Tea Lounge or the Orchid Conservatory, before a private transfer back to the hotel.
