More than just a ride, this experience aims to cultivate a love for horses and ensure the Hmong horse's legacy continues within the community.  

Programme Details

Starting at 09:00 am, little adventurers will get a hands-on lesson in caring for the Hmong ponies before the horseback riding adventure. Assist the friendly groom staff in preparing food for the horses, learn fascinating details about Hmong ponies from a local expert, and even help with grooming– becoming true horse whisperers for the day!

Before setting off on the trail ride, young equestrians will participate in a fun, introductory riding lesson within the safe confines of the riding arena. The adventure then continues at a comfortable pace, traversing through river and forest landscapes. Parents can choose to  walk alongside their children as they ride through the countryside, or participate in a traditional bamboo weaving workshop or dreamcatcher crafting workshop led by local experts. Conclude the day with a delightful lunch—all part of the memorable activities awaiting you during this immersive experience. (L)

Other important notes: 

No riding during midday, the horses are out grazing as it is too hot to ride.

 Weight limit: horses can carry a maximum of 65 kg | Size maximum : 1m70

 Clients are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of their lesson.

 Recommended clothing: long pants, a top with sleeves, and for riding you need boots, running shoes, or trainers. Hats and boots in range of sizes are provided

 Riding hats – Hats to current standards must be worn and securely fastened at all times when mounted.

  Children from 3 years old can ride as long as they sit correctly and can hold the handle of the saddle firmly.
