The full-day join-in tour begins at the 1100 Altitude Wetland on Mt. Halla, a Ramsar-listed high-altitude ecosystem located 1,100 metres above sea level. Wooden boardwalks guide you through misty wetlands, seasonal wildflowers, and sweeping landscapes. It is the closest viewpoint to Hallasan without hiking, offering a serene and breathtaking start to the day.

Next, continue to the Jusangjeolli Hexagon Lava Cliff, a UNESCO Global Geopark site. These dramatic black hexagonal pillars, designated Natural Monument No. 433, rise like a giant stone folding screen above the crashing waves. The contrast of volcanic rock and deep-blue sea highlights the raw power of Jeju’s natural origins.

From here, visit Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, known in legend as “The Pond of the Gods.” This three-tier cascade flows through a lush forest, creating a mystical setting where heavenly maidens were once said to descend and bathe. The tranquil scenery and cool waters make it one of Jeju’s most iconic nature spots.

After exploring the waterfalls, enjoy a nourishing lunch made with seasonal vegetables and local ingredients.

Head to the O’sulloc Green Tea Field and Museum. Wander through vibrant tea fields, learn about Korea’s tea culture, and sample aromatic green tea blends. With tea-inspired desserts, relaxing views, and plenty of scenic photo spots, this is one of Jeju’s most beloved stops.

Take in the volcanic beauty of Songak Mountain, home to the world’s rare double-crater formation. From its coastal walking paths, enjoy panoramic views of Hallasan and the impressive silhouette of Sanbangsan rising above the plains.

A brief stop follows at Bomunsa Temple, nestled at the foot of Sanbangsan. This historic temple sits between the immense bell-shaped volcanic dome and wide ocean views, creating a dramatic and peaceful setting unique to southwest Jeju.

End the day at Dongmun Traditional Market, Jeju’s oldest and most vibrant market. Wander through lively food stalls offering local snacks, seafood, tangerine treats, and handmade goods, an atmospheric and flavourful finale to your South & West Jeju adventure. (L)
