Meet the guide at 09:30AM at the designated spot to set off for a full day exploring Seoul by Pedicab (Korean Rickshaw).
The tour begins at Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest and most magnificent of Seoul’s five grand palaces, originally built in 1395. Visitors will witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at 10:00 AM at Gwanghwamun Gate, a traditional performance that brings the Joseon Dynasty to life.
Inside the palace, guests will be able to admire Geunjeongjeon Hall, where kings once held official audiences, and the picturesque Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, a stunning wooden structure built over a serene pond.
Continue to Tongin Market, a traditional marketplace known for its unique Yeopjeon (brass coin) food experience. Exchange traditional tokens for a variety of street foods, from spicy tteokbokki to savory jeon pancakes, and enjoy an unforgettable lunch in the market’s nostalgic atmosphere.
This afternoon, ride in front of Cheong Wa Dae (The Blue House), the former presidential residence of South Korea. Gain insight into Korea’s modern political history and admire its imposing architecture.
Next, explore Bukchon Hanok Village, a well-preserved neighborhood offering a glimpse into Korea’s architectural heritage. Wander through narrow alleys lined with 600-year-old hanok houses, many of which serve as cultural spaces, art galleries, and tea houses.
Continue the cultural journey with a 1 hour hands-on traditional craft workshop. Under the guidance of a skilled artisan, create a handmade Korean handicraft, gaining a deeper appreciation for Korea’s craftsmanship and artistic traditions. Each guest will take home a unique souvenir.
Later, take a relaxing break at a traditional tea house or modern café with a cultural twist. A perfect moment of tranquility before the final stop of the day.
Wrap up the tour in Insadong, Seoul’s cultural hub known for its traditional arts and crafts. Browse handmade pottery, calligraphy works, and unique souvenirs, or explore hidden tea houses, art galleries, and antique shops.
