Transfer to Geomun Oreum for a scenic hike through one of Jeju’s most striking volcanic landscapes. Start with a brief visit to the Jeju World Natural Heritage Center, located just across from the Geomun Oreum information desk, to learn about the island’s volcanic origins and the unique features of the area.

The trails wind through dense forests, along crater rims, and up to panoramic viewpoints, offering a peaceful and immersive experience of Jeju’s natural beauty and geological heritage.

Three trail options are available to match different fitness levels and interests:

• Summit Course – 1.8 km / approx. 1 hour

• Crater Course – 5.5 km / approx. 2.5 hours

• Full Course – 10 km / approx. 3.5 hours

No matter the route, the hike offers an up-close look at Jeju’s oreums, the small volcanic cones that dot the island and a chance to connect with its serene, forested landscapes.

This afternoon, visit Jeju Haenyeo Museum. Haenyeo are local women divers who use traditional methods and equipment to collect seafood and marine resources from the waters surrounding the island.

After exploring the museum’s insightful displays, attend a Haenyo demonstration performance and witness these legendary divers in action. (Note: Haenyo museum closes on Mondays and Haenyo performance is weather permitting)

Continue to Seongsan Ilchulbong, also known as Sunrise Peak, for a hike up this unusual geological wonder.  The leisurely hike takes around 40 minutes and rewards with awe-inspiring vistas of the surrounding coastline and the mesmerizing volcanic terrain.

After enjoying the views, return on foot to the base of the peak and transfer back to the hotel for the evening.
