Escape the tourist crowds and hike Busan’s scenic Geumjeongsan Mountain with a local guide. Enjoy panoramic city views from the peak, descend into a secluded mountain village and relax at a hidden tent bar to sample authentic Korean rice wine (makgeolli) paired with traditional side dishes.
Begin the experience by meeting the local guide at Oncheonjang Station (Subway Line 1, Exit No. 3) ten minutes before the 09:00 departure for the bus ride to the mountain trailhead.
Geumjeongsan is one of Busan’s most iconic peaks, renowned for its ancient fortress walls and rich history.
Begin the trek up Geumjeongsan Mountain, following peaceful trails surrounded by nature. Hike up to one of the mountain’s peaks (approx. 1.5 hours) to pause for photos and admire breathtaking views across Busan.
Descend for about 30 minutes into a secluded village tucked away high in the mountain.
Gather at an authentic local tent bar to unwind and experience true Korean hospitality. Enjoy a light lunch featuring local side dishes (banchan) paired with refreshing, locally-made Korean rice wine (makgeolli).
After lunch, take the local bus back down the mountain towards the subway station.
Conclude the tour at Oncheonjang Station at approximately 13:30. Guests looking for post-tour relaxation may independently visit the famous Oncheonjang Hot Springs located near the station.

- Total walking time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours covering 8–9 km. The hike is easy for frequent hikers, moderately challenging for casual walkers and challenging for non-hikers.
- The tour is a small group experience, accommodating up to 10 participants per guide (an additional guide will accompany if the group exceeds 10 pax).
- Please bring a charged T-money card or small amount of cash for public transportation during the tour.
- There are no age limitations for this tour.
- This experience includes local dishes and an optional tasting of traditional Korean rice wine (makgeolli). Guests who choose to consume alcohol must be of legal drinking age (19 in South Korea). Soft drinks or water can be served as a non-alcoholic alternative for guests who do not consume alcohol.
- This tour is closed every year during the last week of July and the first week of August.
- The itinerary is subject to flexible changes depending on local conditions such as weather and traffic on the day of the tour. The local guide may adjust the schedule, rearrange the order of visits or modify the timing based on their judgment.
