Enjoy a memorable day in Busan, combining cooking and sightseeing. Spend the morning immersed in Korean culinary culture, learning to prepare beloved bibimbap.  Then visit Korea’s largest seafood market and wander through historic Gamcheon Village before wrapping up the day with a scenic cable car ride.

Programme Details

Meet the guide at 09:00 to start the tour. Today’s tour includes transfers by private, air-conditioned vehicles. 

Transfer to a Join-in cooking class and learn how to make one of Korea’s most popular dishes, bibimbap, during a cooking class and demonstration. Follow the instructor to learn the techniques and process of making this fresh, delicious dish.  Once ready, sit down to enjoy the freshly prepared bibimbap for lunch.

After eating, collect the recipe to take home and proceed to Jagalchi Market,  South Korea’s largest seafood market. Observe the array of products on sale and experience the hive of activity where storekeepers are keen to sell the day’s catch.

Continue to Gamcheon Village, an area of Busan where refugees settled during the Korean War and cultivated the mountainous land to make a living. These days, the area has been reborn thanks to the Village Art Project. Walk around the winding streets, admiring the colourful houses, art installations, retail shops and galleries.

Before the day comes to a close, take a cable car ride across the sea. During the 15-20 minute journey, enjoy spectacular views across the ocean, Songdo Beach, Yeongdodaegyo Bridge, Namhangdaegyo Bridge, Songdo Coastal Dullegil Road and rock cliffs. Before the return journey, stop at Sky Harbor Observatory to observe the natural beauty of Busan coastal area.
