Experience Busan’s coastal beauty after dark on a guided night hike up Bongnaesan Mountain. Take in panoramic views of sparkling city lights and harbour ocean scenery, discover the local legend of Grandma Rock and enjoy classic Korean hiking snacks under the night sky.
Meet the local guide ten minutes before 19:00 at Nampo Station (Subway Line 1, Exit No. 6) before transferring to the mountain trailhead on Yeongdo Island.
Begin the guided night trek up Bongnaesan Mountain. This shorter, scenic trek offers a stunning 360-degree view of Busan Port and the surrounding sea while following peaceful trails lit by flashlight. Ascend through coastal forest paths while listening to local folklore and observing the legendary Grandma Rock (Halmae Bawi).
Reach the summit viewing point to admire breathtaking night vistas overlooking Busan Port, surrounding bridges and the illuminated city skyline. Pause at the top to enjoy classic Korean hiking snacks (such as instant noodles) and light refreshments in the evening air.
Descend the mountain trail back to the trailhead and return to the original meeting location.
Conclude the tour at Nampo Station at approximately 21:30.
