Enjoy a variety of fresh dishes while strolling through the alleys of this world-famous market.

Meet the expert food guide on the edge of the market and get ready to dive in a maze of narrow streets and small shops.

Start with fresh seafood in the iconic Tsukiji Outer Market. Crab and freshwater eel are on the menu, and there’s even a chance to grate fresh wasabi root to go with tuna sashimi. (Today’s overall menu may vary based on seasonal availability and fresh ingredients).

Get into the feel of the lively market as the guide blends conversation with local vendors and tips to select delicious seafood. During the tour, it’s possible to observe chefs and locals looking for the best ingredients for their daily meals. Discover essential ingredients of Japanese cuisine such as sesame, nori seaweed, and dried katsuo fish flakes, learning these favorites are used in cooking through engaging explanations from the guide.

Watch the masterful preparation of tamagoyaki, the classic fluffy Japanese omelet, before enjoying a freshly cooked one straight off the grill. Sample seasonal fruit and traditional green tea, as well as other local seasonal favourites.

Finish with a delicious dessert and then part ways with the guide. Continue exploring the market independently or move on to other sightseeing locations.
