Begin by departing from the hotel in the Northern Resort Area of the Main Island with a guide in a private vehicle. 

A visit to the Yuntanza Museum offers a comprehensive introduction to the nature, history and culture of Yomitan Village through archaeological artefacts, folklore items and traditional crafts. Exploring the Zakimi Castle Ruins, a stunning 15th-century Ryukyu Kingdom fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site, provides an opportunity to admire its advanced stonemasonry and architecture. 

Next, stroll through a vibrant local farmers market alongside a Ryukyu culinary successor for an introduction to fresh regional produce and seasonal ingredients. Participate in an Okinawan cooking experience inside the private home of a culinary instructor, with hands-on preparation of traditional dishes followed by a delicious lunch showcasing the secrets of local health and longevity. 

A leisurely stroll around Yomitan Village provides opportunities to visit the pottery workshops of Yachimun no Sato, a local awamori distillery or a nearby fishing port, tailored to specific interests. 

Conclude the day with a return transfer to the hotel in the Northern Resort Area of the Main Island. (L)
