Drive to the highlands of Mount Lawu in the morning for a therapeutic foraging tour across the 13-hectare Tlogodringo plantation. Led by a local expert herbalist, tune into nature while identifying and harvesting a variety of edible and medicinal plants, learning about their traditional uses and natural benefits.

Continue with a hands-on cooking session rooted in Javanese culinary heritage. This mindful experience focuses on wholesome, plant-based ingredients and gentle cooking methods, exploring how traditional food preparation can nourish the body, calm the mind and encourage a deeper appreciation of each ingredient.

After lunch, step into the living heritage of Javanese healing. Guided by a facilitator, brew a personalised jamu, an ancient remedy recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Hand-select herbs like purwoceng, valerian, chamomile and thyme, blending them with warm spices and raw honey into a personalised wellness tonic while discovering traditional preparation methods and healing benefits.

Conclude this wellness sanctuary experience by exploring the rich cultural heritage of Sukuh Temple. Situated high on the peaceful slopes of Mt. Lawu at 910 metres above sea level, Sukuh Temple offers a quiet sanctuary for contemplation. Known for its historical role in ruwatan (spiritual cleansing and purification rituals), the site invites a deeper connection to nature, emotional restoration and total well-being.
