Hop on a bike to discover the hidden gems of Bali’s lush countryside. Pedal through untouched rice terraces and villages dotted with traditional houses and temples. Get a closer look at the island’s culture by meeting with friendly locals and partaking in traditional ceremonies.
Programme Details
Bring a spirit of adventure and curiosity for this exciting half day Bali bike tour. Transfer to Petang, a quiet village on the outskirts of Ubud where the bikes are waiting. After a bike fitting and safety briefing, it is time to start pedalling.
Ride along quiet paths where other cyclists and the occasional buffalo are more likely to cause traffic jams than cars and buses. Pass by pristine rice terraces, stopping to capture photos of the layers of verdant green fields. Pedal through quaint countryside villages, getting a different perspective of what life is like on the island. There are plenty of opportunities to stop to meet with friendly locals encountered along the way, from farmers in the fields to kids on their way to school.
After around 1.5 until 2 hours in the saddle, arrive at a local Hindu temple in Bongkasa village. Step inside and meet with a Balinese priest who will perform a traditional blessing ceremony. Get a better understanding of the local culture and religious practices with this special encounter.
Having worked up an appetite on the bikes, head to a local restaurant for lunch then return to the hotel for a well deserved rest. (L)

- All rates are based on the current gasoline price. Should the gasoline price increase by more than 10% we would readjust transfer rates with a 30 days prior notice
- Children aged between 2 and 12 years at the time of travel will receive a 15% discount off the Adult Price.
- All language guides other than English subject to availability during high season July until September.
- During Nyepi Day, an important religious day in Bali, which falls on 25-Mar-20 and 14-Mar-21, visitors are not allowed to leave the premises of hotels from 06:00 until 06:00 on the following day (24-hour). The airport will not operate any flights and all public activities will cease but hotels will remain operate with limited staff.
