Experience Komodo’s natural beauty during the peaceful hours leading into sunset. This journey brings together gentle trekking, snorkeling and wildlife encounters across some of the region’s most scenic islands. Discover vibrant marine life, observe Komodo dragons in their natural habitat and enjoy the quiet charm of Komodo’s coastal landscapes. End the adventure by watching flying foxes soar into the evening sky.
Begin the afternoon with a hotel pickup in Labuan Bajo and transfer to the harbour to board a speedboat. The first stop is Kelor Island, where travellers may choose between relaxing on the beach or taking a short 10-minute hike to the hilltop for a panoramic view of the nearby islands.
Continue to Manjarite Island, known for its shallow, clear waters perfect for snorkeling. Enjoy a guided session with provided equipment exploring colourful coral formations and tropical fish.
Next, head to Rinca Island, one of the best places to see Komodo dragons in the wild. Accompanied by local rangers, walk along the island’s trails and learn about its unique environment and wildlife.
As the afternoon transitions into sunset, cruise to Kalong Island. Here, watch as flying foxes take flight from the mangroves, a calm and captivating scene set against the warm evening sky.
Return to Labuan Bajo harbour in the early evening, followed by a transfer back to the hotel.
