Begin your exploration at Museum Indonesia / Museum Fatahillah & Sunda Kelapa traditional harbour, located in the heart of Kota Tua, Jakarta’s historic old town. This museum, housed in the former City Hall dating back to the Dutch colonial era, offers a fascinating insight into Indonesia’s rich history and culture.

After immersing yourself in the charm of the Old Town, enjoy a leisurely lunch at local restaurant with, a charming café known for its classic Indonesian and colonial-style menu, located right near the square

After lunch, discover the bustling modern side of Jakarta by taking the MRT from the Hotel Indonesia roundabout station to the Blok M station. Explore the lively M Bloc space, a public creative hub, and live house, before hopping on the Busway (BRT) for a ride to the Senayan station. From there, take a walk through the financial district of SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District) to see the heart of Jakarta's economic activity. 

Return to the hotel in the late afternoon, having gained a comprehensive understanding of Jakarta's rich history and modernity (L)
