Your adventure begins with a gentle stroll through a local plantation in Taro village. Surrounded by towering palm trees and lush tropical plants, this enchanting corner of Bali provides a magical atmosphere as you explore,  introduce and gather the array of native plants, herbs, and vegetables used for the culinary preparations. This historical land is now dedicated to the conservation of fireflies, serving as a vital center for their natural habitat. As part of your journey, you'll learn about the local plants, herbs, and vegetables we incorporate into the dishes.

Next, delight in an authentic and unique gastronomic experience. Travel back in time to ancient cooking methods from the hunting age, utilizing bamboo and firewood. The culinary journey starts with foraging for herbs and vegetables, which are then used to stuff meat into bamboo before being slow-cooked over an open fire. Most of the ingredients are organically grown right on the farm. Afterward, it's time to savor your freshly cooked meal.

As night falls, witness the enchanting flicker of fireflies in the fields. Immerse yourself in the ethereal beauty of the fireflies and become part of our conservation efforts. In Balinese culture, fireflies hold deep spiritual significance, often seen as guides for lost souls. The highlight of your evening will be observing these captivating insects as they light up the rice fields, witnessing firsthand a thriving environmental conservation initiative in Bali dedicated to preserving these delicate creatures.
