Start the day with a 2 hours e bike trip through rice paddies and local villages around Mambal. Beautiful panoramas of green paddies blend in with majestic mountain ranges surrounding the horizon. Witness the daily activities of farmers on their rice, vegetable and flower fields. Continue to cycle along on a hidden path atop a Dutch built dam between Ayung River and an irrigation ditch, lined with caves built during the Japanese occupation of Bali. Cycle through a typical Balinese village to witness the local life and to arrive at a local house resembling a trinket of typical Balinese compound architecture.

A light and typical Balinese lunch will be served by the family.

After lunch leave the village by bicycle and then continue by car to another rural backdrop around Ubud. Hidden in the greenery lies one of Indonesia most comprehensive collection of masks and puppets. It features not only characters from Bali and Java but also from other cultures around the world, including a puppets of Barack Obama and the museum owner together.  Head to Goa Gajah cave temple, just minutes away. The 11th century archaeological complex contains both Hindu and Buddhist imagery, with lingam and yoni, symbols of Shiva, and the image of elephant deity Ganesha carved into the rock. By the river there are images of Buddhist stupas and chattra. Return to hotel.(L)

 -During Nyepi Day, an important religious day in Bali, which falls on 08th March 2027, visitors are not allowed to leave the premises of hotels from 06:00 until 06:00 on the following day (24 hours). The airport will not operate any flights and all public activities will cease but hotels will remain operating with limited staff
