This critically endangered bird, with its melodic song carried by the island breeze, is a rare gem waiting to be discovered. Encountering the Bali Starling is more than just a visual experience. It’s a powerful reminder of the delicate balance of our ecosystem and the importance of preserving these irreplaceable creatures.
Take part in a meaningful journey to help save the critically endangered Bali Starling through dedicated conservation efforts. At the breeding and conservation center, a dedicated team nurtures a small flock of Bali Starlings, caring for them from hatching to habituation. The bird keepers work tirelessly to ensure the birds grow into healthy adults, with the ultimate goal of releasing them back into the wild.
Enjoy lunch at the restaurant beautifully crafted from reclaimed ironwood, sandstone, and bamboo, and adorned with art and antiques from the owners’ personal collection.
Next, to one of the most renowned museums in Bali. The House of Masks and Puppets attracts a steady stream of art enthusiasts and visitors eager to explore its vast collection of masks and puppets from Bali, across Indonesia, and around the world. With over 1,300 masks and 5,700 puppets, the collection is displayed in four traditional Javanese antique buildings. It features a diverse range of items, including traditional shadow puppets, leather shadow puppets, sacred masks, contemporary pieces, and Balinese puppets and masks. (L)

- Children aged between 2 and 12 years at the time of travel will receive a 20% discount off the Adult Price.
- All language guides other than English subject to availability during the high season July-September.
- During Nyepi Day, a significant religious observance in Bali observed on 29th March 2025 and 19th March 2026, visitors must remain within hotel premises from 6:00 AM until 6:00 AM the following day (a 24-hour period). Both Bali Airport and the harbor will not operate any flights or activities during this time. Hotels will continue to operate with limited staff.
