Immerse yourself in Bali’s coffee culture on a journey that begins at an organic coffee plantation in the cool highlands. Enjoy a short walk through the fields while learning about different coffee varieties and other cultivated crops grown in the area. During the coffee season, observe the traditional coffee-making process passed down through generations, then relax with a cup of hand-roasted local coffee while chatting with friendly villagers and gaining insight into daily life.

A simple local lunch is shared with the farmers at the village community house.

Continue to Ubud for a hands-on experience at a coffee studio, where a trained barista introduces professional brewing techniques. Choose to focus on espresso, latte art, or coffee tasting methods as you learn how to judge quality and flavor. This interactive session offers a perfect conclusion to the day before returning to the hotel in the late afternoon with a deeper appreciation of Bali’s coffee traditions. (L)
