Begin the day on Luxor’s West Bank with a visit to the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs were buried in richly painted underground tombs. Continue to the Valley of the Queens to view the resting place of royal wives and children before heading to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Marvel at this spectacular structure which blends into the surrounding cliffs and represents one of the most significant architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. 

Conclude the excursion with a short stop at the Colossi of Memnon to view two immense stone statues that once guarded the entrance to a great mortuary temple. (-/-/-)
