Kick off the day with Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering project that reshaped Egypt’s future and offers wide views over Lake Nasser. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries, a massive monument that reveals how ancient builders worked. Travel by motorboat to Philae Temple, one of Egypt’s most beautiful sanctuaries, saved from flooding and relocated to Agilkia Island. Its riverside setting makes it a highlight of any visit to Aswan.
