Experience Angkor Wat like never before with an exclusive tour led by a German Apsara Conservation Project (GACP) expert. Meet your guide at the GACP information centre located within the Angkor Wat site.

The NGO has operated since 1997 and was initiated by the University of Applied Sciences Germany in collaboration with APSARA Authority. The work of conservation is to preserve the devatas, apsaras and other bas-reliefs of Angkor Wat.

After a project introduction, all necessary safety equipment will be provided as you explore Angkor Wat's hidden corners and climb the scaffolding. Gain exclusive access to restricted areas and a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the restoration efforts. Learn about the deterioration of the previous decorations of Angkor Wat, the restoration and conservation. 

Your participation directly supports the project, with funds used to purchase essential conservation materials and tools.

 02 hours private lecture 
 To visit the worksite, guest are requested to wear a helmet
 Max. 20 persons per booking
 GACP is closed on saturday, sunday and during Big Public Holiday such as Water festival ceremony, Pchum Ben Day, and Khmer New Year.
