EXO Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign to support victims of Typhoon Yagi, a powerful storm that caused extensive destruction and damage across Southeast Asia.
In just a few days, heavy rains triggered severe flooding and landslides, resulting in the tragic loss of life and displacing tens of thousands from their homes in Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. Public infrastructure, including power lines, bridges, and roads, has been severely damaged, isolating many communities from essential aid.
To date, EXO Foundation has contributed 21,000 USD to flood relief, supplemented by an additional 1350 USD in donations from our global partners.
Partnering with trusted local organisations, EXO Foundation is committed to ensuring that 100% of all donations go directly to relief efforts. Donations will be used to provide essential goods, healthcare, and support for rebuilding efforts.

Thailand: Freedom Story works on long term solutions to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation by empowering at-risk Thai students to stay in school and pursue their dreams. Following the floods, they are distributing essential supplies to affected communities in the Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai regions.
About Typhoon Yagi
Typhoon Yagi made landfall in North Vietnam in early September 2024. It brought widespread devastation to Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, where entire regions were submerged in floodwaters, leaving many communities in urgent need of relief..
In Vietnam, central provinces experienced some of the worst damage, while northern Thailand and Laos faced severe landslides that wiped out homes and agricultural land.
Myanmar’s infrastructure was also hard-hit, leaving remote villages completely isolated and hundreds of thousands homeless.
Across these countries, the road to recovery will be long, and immediate support is crucial for helping families rebuild their lives and communities.
