EXO Travel recently attended World Travel Market (WTM) in London where we noticed a huge interest in Japan, with specific focus on destinations beyond the usual hotspots. The northern region of Tohoku in particular shined as an area of great interest, perfectly aligning with our strategy of showcasing and developing lesser-known destinations.
With new products already launched in 2024, we’re committed to expanding our off-the-beaten-path offerings into 2025, bringing fresh perspectives to travellers seeking authentic, immersive experiences.
WTM was a great occasion to see some familiar faces, meet some of you in person at last, learn about our partners’ future plans and discuss how we can improve the experience for our guests.
Japan’s cities have also garnered international recognition: both Osaka and Tokyo recently earned prestigious titles as travel hotspots, enhancing their appeal for visitors worldwide.
Read on to catch up on the latest Japan destination news and recent accolades!
