Recently, a 245km expressway connecting Hanoi with the northern Vietnamese province of Lao Cai was opened to traffic. The expressway is the longest of its kind in Vietnam, and has reduced the journey time from 7 hours to 4.5.
The expressway runs from Hanoi’s Noi Bai through the provinces of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho and Yen Bai before reaching to Lao Cai, making these areas of Vietnam more accessible than ever before!
