(HCM) Tourplan Executive

About this role

Position Overview
The Tourplan Executive works closely with the Tourplan users to ensure all system settings and database are all correct, well maintained and backed up at all times.
Location: 16-18 Hai Ba Trung, Sai Gon Ward, HCM

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Tourplan Supervisor, Contracting & Product department
• Coordinate with Contracting team, Product team, Reservation/Operations and accounting department to ensure all settings are correct and information flows are working correctly
• Supervise database maintenance with contracts from hotels, transports, restaurants and other suppliers in destination including room and service allotments, promotions, and rates.
• Ensure that all system settings are set correctly through all parts of Tourplan including database, bookings and accounting modules
• Maintain data & Tourplan System to ensure all bugs or system problems are repaired quickly and effectively
• Control all new services are entered into the system in a timely and correct manner
• Provide daily support and troubleshooting for internal users (including team members and other departments like Sales, Operations) regarding Tourplan system usage, data queries, and issue resolution.
• Meet all deadlines set to ensure that tariff, rates, updates etc. are delivered.
• Proactively absorb training, learn new company policies and system tools, and effectively apply them to daily operations
• Perform any other duty relevant to this department in addition to supporting the Tourplan Database Department and/or any other department as deemed necessary to fulfil the business requirements of the company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Strong computing skills. Previous experience in using TOURPLAN software or similar is a plus.
• Experience in software system management background would be an advantage
• General knowledge about Travel Business and tourism in destination
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Be precise, detailed and systematic
• Interest and/or experience in the travel industry
• Understanding of sustainability and responsible tourism is a plus.

• Ability to work under pressure, show initiative and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and targets.
• Good computer literacy
• Be able to suggest improved ways of working to positively impact people’s life and the environment.
