Lead Digital Product Designer (Web)

About this role

We are looking for a creative, innovative Lead Product Designer to join our newly formed Digital team and lead our product design function.

This is an expert contributor role reporting to the Chief Digital Officer. You’ll be part of EXO Travel’s vision to deliver authentic and sustainable travel experiences to travel agents and guests worldwide, and Digital team’s mission to improve the experience of our customers, streamline our operations, and transform our business models by offering valuable digital products and services.

• Lead user research workstream using interviews and usability testing to validate hypotheses and promote a user-centric design approach
• Execute across the full range of design expertise, from user flows and wireframes, to lo-fidelity mockups and high-fidelity prototypes and more
• Communicate user needs (the why) and design rational (the how) to peers and stakeholders
• Build, extend and continuously improve a world-class design system
• Continuously challenge and raise the bar for product quality in terms of impact, design and user experience

• Experience working in digital-native companies, tech startups, agile environments
• Resourceful self starter, comfortable working in an environment with minimal functional oversight

• Solid portfolio of web applications and websites that demonstrates your design experience and skills
• Experience at managing complexity using design techniques
• Strong communication skills, able to articulate your thought process with clarity
• Strong critical thinking skills, not afraid to ask questions, think analytically and make tough decisions
• Well-versed in industry-standard design tools and processes
• Understanding and proactive participation in sustainability’s initiatives of the company
