about the role

Location: Laos

To lead a team of Internet Sales consultants and coach them to grow sales and continuously improve the quality of all correspondences. To proactively initiate programs to improve the team results. To oversee reports to and communication with the E-Commerce Department in Head Office.
 Be responsible for the B2C market (tailor-made private tours) to ensure the delivery of high level of operations to exceed the clients’ expectations.

role and responsibilities


  • Handle Internet Sales and B2C inquiries, sales and bookings in accordance with the Internet Sales / B2C procedures.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Manage a team of Internet Sales / B2C consultants and provide them with daily advices and guidance.
  • Monitor and continuously improve the Internet Sales / B2C teams’ answers in terms of  speed and quality.
  • Track and improve conversions, implement up-selling tactics, and control and improve gross margins on all sales.
  • Produce and communicate weekly inquiries report and monthly sales reports in a timely manner.
  • Identify demand trends and feedback periodically on those trends to the E-Commerce team, and regularly feedback comments and suggestions to the E-Commerce team.
  • Take part and contribute to the regional Internet Sales / B2C Managers Meetings.
  • Assist the E-Commerce team in contacting third party websites based in his country to negotiate advertising or referral agreements.
  • Proactively communicate the Internet Sales / B2C departments’ needs in terms of information and support.
  • Maintain correspondences with customers when required.
  • Initiate programs to encourage team members to contribute ideas and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain and develop computerized internet customer’s database.
  • Manage, motivate and retain the team to achieve high quality performance.

Work Relation

  • Liaise with the other Departments and other EXO Offices.
  • Maintain good working relations with clients and suppliers.
  • Liaise with the E-commerce Department and EXO Head Office.


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Tourism or other related.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in similar position, experience in tourism is required.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Have excellent, proven sales experience in online travel is preferred.


  • Strong selling and communication skills with ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong organization & problem solving skills.
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity in CRM software would be an advantage.
