About this role

Position Overview:

This is a destination finance leadership role where the Finance and Accounting Manager is managing all financial processes and accounts at the destination.The person will also lead the finance team at the destination.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s financial operations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the financial management system.
  • Manage all functions of Accounting & Financial planning such as budgeting, strategic planning and account closing.
  • Cash management and financial activities of the company to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Monitor Customers Accounts and payment terms to ensure terms are observed and overdue amounts are collected.
  • Review and analyze daily, weekly and monthly cash flow statement, bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare regular weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly cash flow forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with auditors, banks and government agencies for all responsible areas.
  • Manage cashier team to understand and work on finance process correctly and efficiently.
  • Provide leadership to Accounting & Finance operations and reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing reporting to internal and external sources, adherence with IFRs.
  • Work with the auditor to ensure a timely year end audit.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy and reliability of all financial information and maintain in accordance with EXO Group accounting policies, principles and practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with local Thai statutory requirements.
  • Responsible for other related issues as assigned by direct supervisors.
  • Assist with regional office visits and other destinations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance are required.
  • Professional qualification is preferred e.g., CPA and good knowledge of tax.
  • At least 10 years relevant work experience in accounting and financial management level in multinational companies is a must.
  • Proven experience as manager (>5 years) or relevant position directly related to the duties and responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:

    • Strong background experience in service industry, Travel industry experience an advantage but not necessary.
    • Good drive, strong leadership abilities, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills are a must.
    • Commercial awareness and general business skills.
    • Excellent in English (spoken & written) and computer literacy.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reports and presentations.
    • Strong organizational, time management, analytical and prioritization skills.
    • In-depth ability to develop and assess process flows, procedures, processing guidelines and able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
