About this role

Position Overview:

This person works closely with the Tourplan users to ensure all system settings and database are all correct, well maintained and backed up at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Tourplan Manager and General Manager and data entry staffs.
  • Coordinate with reservations, operations and accounting department to ensure all settings are correct and information flows are working correctly.
  • Supervise database maintenance with contracts from hotels, cars, restaurants and other suppliers in destination.
  • Ensure that all system settings are set correctly through all parts of Tourplan including database, fastbook and accounting modules.
  • Maintain data & Tourplan System to ensure all bugs or system problems are repaired quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure system is stable and backed up at all times
  • Control all new services are entered into the system in a timely and correct manner.
  • Provide the Tourplan training to related staffs and assist them whenever requested.
  • Meet deadlines and be able to make decisions and to prioritised tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Strong computing skills. Previous experience in using TOURPLAN software or similar is an advantage.
  • Experience in software system management background would be an advantage.
  • General knowledge about Travel Business and tourism in destination.
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Be precise, detailed and systematic.
