Meaning ‘mirrors’ in Arabic, Maraya is more than just an architectural wonder. The stunning building also stands as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning cultural scene, a symbol of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to enrich cultural and touristic development.

Built in 2019, the mirror-covered building was designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding desert. The result is a mirage-like impression, making it hard to tell where the building ends and the desert begins. It is a unique attraction in AlUla, which is known for its UNESCO-listed heritage sites.

Within the mirrored walls are a state-of-the-art concert hall, with a seating capacity of 500, a conference centre and an arts pavilion. The venue has already hosted an impressive list of international performers, with more exciting concerts on the schedule for 2024. Read on to learn more.

Inside, Maraya boasts a state-of-the-art interior, including a large auditorium capable of hosting a wide array of events. It has hosted everything from world-class concerts and art exhibitions to international forums and culinary experiences.

Upcoming events include the famed tenor Andrea Bocelli, who is returning to Maraya for the sixth time on 26 January 2024.  Also on the list is renowned singer-songwriter James Blunt, performing 9 February 2024.
