Exo TravelTransfer from Dala to starting point: 30 minutes Cycling distance up to: 72 km Difficulty: Medium

Today meet our guide in the morning at your hotel, get briefing about the whole tour. After that you will be transferred to the jetty. Take a local ferry boat to cross the Yangon River and into the small town of Dala. The ferry that crosses the Yangon River is used every day by thousands of local commuters going to and from work.

The scenery quickly changes once you cross the river, from the busy streets of Yangon to the quiet countryside of Dala. We’ll visit a tea shop to experience a daily staple of life in Myanmar and taste the Burmese typical breakfast. Then we will transfer for 30 minutes to avoid the main road and start our cycling on a small country road.

We will ride through the fields, stream, bamboo forest and several villages with a stop at the snake temple filled with Burmese Pythons. You will definitely see no tourists today and it’s the real off the beaten track. We will not see our support car during the first 40 km. After 45 km, we will reach Dedaye, a small river town stands as a gateway to Irrawaddy Delta, and stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, continue cycling to our destination town Pyapon. This afternoon route takes us along the flat road with little traffic and some ride will be off road through the villages standing along the creek.
